Grant writing

Grantwriting requires policy interpretation, abundant research, and often includes mapping.  Education in Public Policy, GIS, and Natural resources sets the stage for outstanding performance in this arena.

Services
Grant writing services may be offered on a selective basis depending upon the nature and extent of the project.  Grantwriting can be time-consuming and therefore scheduling this kind of project will be contingent upon the availability of staff.

Successful project(s):

City of Philomath - $46,000 Oregon Parks and Recreation grant to enhance playground areas at Newton Park in Philomath, Oregon.  These play areas were more than twenty years old and not engaging for area youth.  Maps were required to demonstrate proximity to population and GIS data was essential in providing accurate measurement of the play areas for cost estimates.  In addition to researching the park and play areas, outstanding writing skills and extensive collaboration with Public Works were essential to seal this deal.
